SIREUS, a three-year collaboration project between SACC-USA and 13 Swedish universities, focuses on knowledge exchange in innovation, science, entrepreneurship, and increasing talent mobility for students and researchers between Sweden and the U.S.
A platform to increase talent mobility and knowledge exchange between Sweden and the U.S.
For researchers, companies, students and innovators
With increased global competition and an accelerating pace of innovation, attracting skilled talent becomes ever more important to secure long-term economic growth. A skilled workforce can be achieved through domestic education, by attracting foreign talent, or by individuals studying abroad or gaining knowledge in another country.
In today's environment, democracies are challenged in sustaining collaboration in the face of conflict and competition. Academia is a critical stakeholder in maintaining free collaboration and cooperation. The SIREUS CHANCELLORS forum focuses on bringing together thought leaders across government, industry, and academia to share their perspectives on how best a US-Sweden network can support democracy through soft diplomacy.
SIREUS will welcome 11 Swedish and 14 American universities to the event which will include interesting panel discussions, presentations, networking and performances. This is an invitation-only event for 40-50 senior executive-level delegates from Swedish and American academia, as well as from government.
