Jan-Ingvar Jönsson, Vice-Chancellor, Linköping University, Sweden.

​​​​​​​He is professor in Medical Cell Biology leading a research group on leukemia biology. Before appointed Vice-Chancellor, he was Secretary General for Medicine and Health at the Swedish Research Council. He has large experience of international networking and is currently chair of the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR). He was acting chair of the International Consortium of Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) in 2018-2021. From 2021, he is treasurer of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities, a network of 12 universities including Linköping University in Sweden, united by a common effort to create, test and evaluate a new educational pedagogy in Europe.
