SIREUS ENTREPRENEURS Forum Success Stories

Last year in February, the SIREUS Entrepreneurs forum was held in Denver in connection with Destination Startup. The event gave companies connected to Swedish SIREUS member universities the opportunity to connect with businesses, investors, research institutions, federal laboratories and key opinion leaders in the research and innovation ecosystem in both Colorado and Arizona. The week-long immersion was hosted by SACC-Colorado, SACC-Arizona and The University of Colorado Boulder in conjunction with the 2023 Destination Startup conference.
As we’re nearing this year’s event we’ve interviewed several of the participating companies about their experiences in Colorado.

Students at LiU and WSU participate in a pioneering four-way collaboration

In our increasingly globalized and interconnected society, gaining industry experience in a global setting provides a vital asset for students preparing to enter the workforce. SIREUS member Linköping University (LiU) and affiliate Washington State University (WSU) have united their efforts to establish a groundbreaking four-way collaboration combining a student exchange with research and industry. This initiative is focusing on the computing-based design philosophy supporting Boeing’s and Saab’s co-designed and co-produced cutting-edge T-7A Red Hawk training aircraft.

SIREUS launches RESEARCH forum

As SIREUS has gained notability within academic circles, the collaboration is now aiming further and is launching the SIREUS RESEARCH forum. The forum represents a structured platform consisting of esteemed subject matter experts who will deliver enlightening presentations on current and relevant subjects within research and innovation.
