Anne Emig is a program director and cluster lead at the National Science Foundation Office of International Science & Engineering, with responsibility for overseeing OISE funding programs. Prior to joining NSF in 2005, she worked at the InterAmerican Development Bank and the Columbia University Center on Japanese Economy and Business. Anne did her doctoral studies in International Relations at Columbia University, specializing in postwar Japanese foreign policy. She lived in Japan for eight years, including as a Fulbright fellow.
