The final event of the SIREUS Study in Sweden tour took place at at the prestigious Chapman in the heart of Orange, California. Against the captivating backdrop of Attallah Piazza, the event served as a dynamic platform where eleven of our esteemed Swedish member universities proudly displayed their academic offers and unique programs. Each university set up vibrant tables, transforming the campus square into a lively hub of exploration and discovery. Fresh lemonade and cookies were also served to the students.

​​​​​​​The event began with a mingling session where the participants got the chance to connect with representatives from renowned Swedish universities. These representatives shared invaluable information about various study programs, admission processes, and the distinctive aspects of studying in Sweden.

​​​​​​This was followed by a presentation from Henric Cronqvist, Dean and Professor of Finance at Chapman University’s George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics, a few words from Niklas Myhr, Professor at Chapman University and an alumni panel where the panelists shared their journeys, offering real-world perspectives on studying in Sweden, adapting to a new culture, and building successful careers post-graduation.

​​​​​​​This segment provided a unique opportunity for attendees to hear firsthand experiences and gain practical advice.

SIREUS(Students, Innovators, Researchers and Entrepreneurs between the US and Sweden), is a collaboration project between The Swedish American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA) and 13 Swedish universities, focused on knowledge exchange in innovation, science, and entrepreneurship, as well as talent mobility for students and researchers between Sweden and the U.S.
