Study in Sweden

On November 2nd, SIREUS arranged a Study in Sweden Event at the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce in New York. This event gave students and young people interested in pursuing a degree in Sweden the chance to meet with representatives from 12 leading Swedish universities.

The event started with welcome remarks by Karin Hammar, President of SACC-USA and Anna Throne-Holst, President of SACC-NY. The first two hours of the event consisted of a mingle session where people had the chance to walk around and talk to the universities about their programs, campus life and research opportunities. After the mingle session several speakers provided participants with insights into Sweden as a destination for studies, and the last hour of the event contained an alumni panel with successful alumni stories from Lund University and Karolinska Institutet.
